I’m Jack Adams
With 15 years of software development and systems architecture covering almost every sector you can imagine.
Over my career I have varied the tools and languanges I’ve worked with to become a true polyglot. Whether it’s PHP, JavaScript, C++, Java, Python, C#, Ruby or Go, I have worked professionally with them.
However, the true value I bring to a project is not the excellent programming skills but my ability to understand and communicate effectively with all levels of a business.
I’ve seen it in every job I’ve worked, the stakeholder wants X and the developer delivers Y because neither have been able to communicate properly what the requirements actually mean. This is where I excel. Rather than taking a brief at face value, I talk to the stakeholders and understand why they want to do X or Y and talk through the options in a way even the biggest technophobe can understand. Then when I build the solution, it isn’t just what was written on paper, it is exactly what the user needs and just works.
